Our talented 2023 CAPE interns have brought their creativity and passion to life through their amazing face painting designs exclusively designed for Black Arts Fest MKE, August 5, 2023. These designs capture the brand, spirit, and energy of the festival, celebrating the rich and diverse culture that make up the Black arts community.
Using two specific themes, our interns have skillfully blended a fusion of traditional and contemporary art styles, resulting in unique and eye-catching designs. Theme #1, Melanin Magic, exhibits intricate patterns inspired by African heritage to bold and colorful expressions of identity and cultural pride, while theme #2, Kid Friendly Fun, display traditional festival imagery for a more general feel.
